CHAPTER 1
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Veggieta store is a small business that sells veggie balls and other foods and drinks such as
Leche Flan and Pineapple drinks for an affordable price. Our business offers healthy and
delicious products and also it offers affordable prices as much as possible so that everyone can
afford our products. It is also appreciating the value of eating healthy foods that’s why we came
up with the idea to sell a popular street food with veggies that customers will surely love. The
logo we came up with is from the pun used in our brand named Veggieta from the character
Vegeta in Dragon Ball Series. Our business is located at the TPC Novaliches Campus which is at
892 Alfina Building, Quirino Hwy, Quezon City, 1117 Metro Manila, Philippines. We offer 3
products, which are Veggie Balls, Leche Ran, and Pineapple Trunks. Our Target Markets are
Trinity Polytechnic College’s Students, Teachers, and Staff. Flyers and Banners will be also
seen.
We are aware of our SWOT Analysis, which is, STRENGHT: High caliber of goods and
services, Easy accessibility, Unique Taste, Quality ingredients, and Friendly staff. For our
WEAKNESS: Limited menus. OPPORTUNITIES: Establish a student-friendly area, Increased
focus on healthy diets, and Loyal returning customers. Lastly our THREATS: Opponents make
use of strong customer loyalty, Negative reviews, and High inflation. Our pricing strategy is
Economy Pricing Strategy because we have our goal which is to be affordable yet delicious.
Our ownership type is partnership type because this is a group project and we want everyone to
be equal. That can be seen in our organizational structure. Our Mission is to provide delicious
and affordable products that people are sure to enjoy and buy. Our Vision is to aim to make the
business profitable and to maintain good business flow by serving delicious foods and
approaching the customers well. Here at our Organizational Policy, we have our system for the
benefit of both tenants and customers. And Lastly in our Wasted Disposal, we have stated our
rules and the things that we will use and do to assure the cleanliness and safeness of our stall.

BUSINESS NAME
We came up with the name Veggieta because we wanted to leave an entertaining word to
remember the name of our store that offers Veggie balls. It came from Vegeta's name, a character
from the anime Dragon Ball. We also adopted it on our products, such as Leche Ran instead of
Leche Flan, inspired by RanRan and Pineapple Trunks from a character named Trunks in Dragon
Ball. The puns would be amusing for the customers, especially the Dragon Ball fans.

NATURE OF THE BUSINESS

Our business project is to set up a business selling healthy veggie balls, which are very
popular and sold in our small store. Our small store can be found at 892 Alfina Bldg., Quirino
Highway, Brgy. Gulod Novaliches, Quezon City, and our goal is to be able to sell and serve
delicious quality food. And above all, make it affordable to customers. One of our goals is to
grow our business. We buy ingredients for Letche flan such as egg, sugar, milk and Veggie balls
are made by deep frying vegetable ball mixture made with potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic,
spring onions, corn starch, pepper and salt and can be eaten by dipping in a sweet and sour
vinegar or just simply in a sweet tangy sauce. We also have a refreshing pineapple drink. The
owner will be in charge of operating the entire company. To accommodate customers for their
first merienda of the day.

The primary customers are the students, the faculty, and other staff of Trinity Polytechnic
College Inc., since the school has no canteen that the employees and students can go to when it's
their break time. Since our primary target is the students and employees of the school, we make
sure that our product is affordable for everyone and especially for students whose budget is
limited.

break time and we all know how students love street foods as our main product is included in it.

product for dessert, we included them on our target customer as they can eat it while they’re on

MARKETING STRATEGIES
One of the things we miss in this present epidemic scenario is the tasty street snacks we enjoy
after school, work, or even running an errand. Street foods are one of the most convenient and
affordable foods available to many people. They serve an important role in the diet since they are
taken on a regular and consistent basis by people of all income levels, especially the poor urban
population. Street foods are one of those types of food that not only locals but tourists want to try
for the sake of experience or curiosity because they are easily found and cheap while maintaining
an image of uniqueness and being a national delicacy. Aside from being a source of food, street
foods are also becoming a form of tourism advertisement and identity in specific regions or
places to attract foreign tourists.
PRODUCT
Have you tried the vegan veggie balls yet? It looks and tastes like a meatball, but it's made of
vegetables, hence the name veggie ball. They're as delicious and flavorful as your favorite
meatball, but much healthier. Vegetable balls commonly known as veggie balls are very versatile
and are a simple snark all over the world. Potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, spring onions, corn
starch, paprika, pepper, and salt are combined to make vegetable balls, which are then deep-fried
and served with a sweet-and-sour sauce, mayonnaise ketchup, or just plain tomato ketchup.
These veggie balls can be used as a healthy and vegan substitute for meatballs in pasta dishes
like spaghetti, or you can flatten them to resemble burger patties instead of forming them into
balls. To prepare these delicious vegetable balls at home, use our recipe.

Social media platforms are still used by the majority of people nowadays, thus we continue
to use them for promotion. It will cover the menu as well as other promos for the day.
Additionally, we'll hang banners throughout the campus and hand out flyers to each person and
client. Additionally, we want to urge our consumers to forward it to their friends or on their
personal social media profiles.

aims to attract the most-price conscious customers.
We use this method cause based on our mission, we want to serve delicious and affordable foods
that students and other customers will surely love. Not only that, we assure you that our foods
are healthy and with the best quality, regardless of our cheap prices.

OWNERSHIP TYPE
Veggieta Enterprise is a partnership type of firm with 16 co-owners. According to R.A. No.
386, Article 1767, by the contract of partnership two or more persons bind themselves to
contribute money, property, or industry to a common fund, intending to divide the profits among
themselves. A partnership is a form of organization wherein two or more people own the
company equally and are responsible for its operation and any profits or losses. Each owner has a
PHP100 investment for a sum of PHP1600.
Each investor has committed to the standard structure that was conferred in order to help
and contribute every idea to improve the firm Veggieta. To prevent conflict, it is prohibited to
introduce new concepts or policies into the firm that are not authorized or defined by the co-
owners. Everyone has the opportunity to discover everything they can know about the
partnership's business. Also, provide information about whether the business is still operating
well or if there is a problem that must be addressed timely.
This business will be managed by the owners to be managed properly and the main goal of
the firm will be accomplished through unity and strategies they have.

Introduction
The goal of this policy is to establish the fundamental principles for marketing communications
across our organization.
This policy applies to all marketing activities and communications, such as online and direct
marketing, shopper marketing, packaging, events, trade/sales, and other professional promotions
and communications.
In addition to this Policy, all marketing and communications must always comply with
applicable local laws and regulations.
All advertising and communications must be truthful and contain no false facts or statements.
In all marketing communications, our Group pledges to adhere to the following principles.
1. Food product copy, sound, and visual presentations accurately represent the material
characteristics advertised.
2. All the staffs in charge in our store follows a minimum health protocol that is been
implemented by the IATF.
3. Staffs should wear hairnet and gloves during selling hours.
4. Never leave the store unattended (there should be at least one staff left to look after the
store).
5. Avoid contamination of food (e.g., placing one food into other food container, every food
that will serve need to have its own container).
6. First in First out.
7. Unauthorized taking of money, food or property from the school or from a fellow staff.
8. Staff are required to wash their hands every 30 minutes and before going to work, after
using the restroom and/or handling any cleaning tool, and when their hands have been
exposed to contamination. Every 30 minutes, you should also sanitize your hands.
9. Pay as you order.
10. Speak respectfully to customers.
11. Always check your changes before leaving.
