North Broadway United Methodist Church Hosts Sprague Lecture Forum on

Creation Care and Climate Justice

Columbus, Ohio - North Broadway United Methodist Church will host an event on March 15th,
2023 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, featuring experts on creation care and climate justice
discussing the urgent need for action and solutions to address pressing environmental issues. The
event will include keynote speakers, breakout sessions, a panel discussion, and lunch. The cost of
the event is $40 for adults and $15 for students, online pre-registration is required and can be
done at north-broadway.org.

The event will also feature an expo showcasing local organizations and businesses that promote
sustainability and environmental stewardship, such as The Compost Exchange, REWASH
Refillery, Sustainable Columbus, The City of Columbus GreenSpot, and more.

This year's keynote speakers for the Sprague Lecture Forum are Dr. Tim Van Meter, Methodist
Theological Seminary talking about Climate Justice and Rev. Jenny Phillips, United Methodist
Church Global Missions speaking on Creation Care. They will provide valuable insights and
perspectives on the urgent need for action on environmental issues. Attendees will have the
opportunity to hear from these thought leaders and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges
we face and the solutions that are needed to address them.
