The purpose of the project is to create a Facebook page or another social
media page for one historical figure.
You will have 2 checkpoints.
- Checkpoint 1: April 7, 2022 – Name of figure, people in your group
or if you are choosing to complete the project by yourself, and if you
will complete an actual page or a paper copy
- Checkpoint 2: April 24, 2022 – List of Resources, rough draft of the
Information Corner/Basic Information, Friends, and Activities.

Use this sheet to complete your research before you begin constructing your
Facebook or other social media page.

GUIDELINES

-Name the historical figure at the top of the page

-1 Profile Picture of your historical figure
– Please check the accompanying list for an approved list of people.

Information Corner/Basic Information

-Network
-Birthday
-Political Affiliation
-Religion
-Hometown

Friends Corner
-5 pictures of people that are/would be friends with your figure

The Wall
-Write at least 5 “status updates” on the Wall of your figure. These should be significant
and relate to the thinker. These facts are needed to highlight important events that your
historical figure is famous for. Each comment must be about a significant SEPARATE
event and should include an accurate date. The comment can be from your figure or
from someone associated with your figure.

Personal Information (at least 3 of each)

-Activities
-Interests
-Favorite Music
-Favorite Movies
-Favorite TV Shows
-Favorite Books
(Obviously, TV and movies did not exist during this time period. What you can do is
think about modern TV, music, movies, etc. that your thinker would enjoy based on
what you know about them. For example, I might choose AC/DC’s Thunderstruck as
one of Franklin’s favorite songs since he was so preoccupied with lightning storms)

I will also be looking to make sure you answer the questions:

- What would the favorite quotes of this thinker be? What other philosophers/thinkers
would this person be friends with? Are the status updates related to this thinker? Is the
