Urban areas and

rural areas
Ana Luísa, Carolini, Julie and Lavínia – 601
Tatiana Lazaretti and Alex Marciano

The rural space is the

countryside, where agriculture
and livestock activities are
mainly carried out.

Urban areas are large and

evolved cities, usually with
more than 20,000
inhabitants. Urban areas
contain buildings, industries,
malls, and others.
Nature was deforested so that there was space to make
buildings, houses, industries, among other things. We
do not plant in urban spaces because this activity is
carried out in rural spaces, and food is brought here.

Over time, most people started to live in the urban

space instead of the rural one, this helped in the
plantations that were expanding more and more.

•Over time, the rural space also

acquired the technology, using
machines to have food and help
control the animals, giving more
productivity to the rural area.
•The rural space causes a lot of
damage to the environment:
•Using various pesticides that
contaminate soil and water
• The large part of the fresh water
that is used for livestock
•Among others

The rural and urban areas

has activities in common,
such as sewage and
treated water,
communication,
electricity.
