    Hornaday Awards

    The William T. Hornaday Awards program encourages and Seven types of Hornaday awards are available. The local council
    recognizes units, Scouts, Venturers, and Scouters who design, may present:
    lead, and carry out conservation projects that are based on • The William T. Hornaday unit certificate for a conservation
    sound scientific principles and practices. The projects should project by a pack, troop, team, or crew
    contribute to sound conservation and environmental improvement
