Organization (gym set-up): Divide the playing each team 6 balls. Players can use any color ball
area into 3 zones. If using a basketball court, to knock down pins.
Zone 1 (Farmers)will be from one end line to the
free-throw line; Zone 2 (Knights)will be 10 feet
on each side of the center court line, and Zone 3
(Vikings) will be from the other end line to the
free-throw line. Use cones or other markers to
separate the zones. (Shorten the playing area as
needed for younger students.) 2. Place one set
of 10 colored pins along each of the end lines
and on the midcourt line, spaced evenly at least
3 feet apart. 3. Divide the group into 3 equal
teams and assign each team to a zone. 4. Give

Fitness 5-7 min Steal The Ball


Activity Start by placing a whole bunch of balls in the center area, equally spaced
between anywhere from 4-8 teams.
At each team area, place a hula hoop for the balls to be placed after they
are taken from the middle area.
On the go signal, players from each team go one at a time to the middle,
dribble the ball back to their hoop, and tags the next person to go.
The object is to take as many balls until all are gone from the middle.
When all the balls are gone from the middle, then take one ball from any
of the other teams.
After a designated time limit counts to see which team has the most!
Students will then dribble the ball with their feet back to their hoop.
Modification: One person from each group rotates clockwise and play
again.

Transition 30 sec Student’s will help pick up the equipment but leaves the gator balls out

Main 12-15 min Team Pin Bliz


Portion of On a signal, players roll the balls into the other zones in an attempt to

zones. Play continues for 3 minutes (or other predetermined lengths of
time).
2. After time runs out, the score is tallied: Each pin that is knocked down
counts as 1 point against the team guarding the pins in that zone.
3. The teams rotate zones and reset the pins for the next round. Teams
rotate again for a third round, giving each team a turn in each of the
zones.
4. Scoring is cumulative. At the end of 3 rounds, the team with the lowest
score wins.
5. Each group will have color coordinate cones and pins. (Yellow, Green,
Orange). There will be three teams.
Rules
1. Players cannot go out of their zones in an attempt to knock down their
opponents' pins.
2. Players are not allowed to lie down in front of their pins to block an
opponent's shot.
3. A pin that is knocked over by a defender while attempting to block a
shot by an opponent must stay down.
Modifications: Students will kick the balls, and throw

Modification: rotate every round or every four to 5 min, change teams,
students can pick up the pin and reset it. What are you targeting? Where
are the boundaries you are allowed to be in?
Transition 30 sec Students will help pick up the equipment
