EXERCISE 1

LEARNING GOAL:
 Change background colour and title
 Insert Table, ClipArt, Textbox, Border Art, Word Art, and shadow

INSTRUCTION:
1. Open MS Publisher, choose a blank page 8.5 * 11 portrait size.
2. Click Insert, choose Shapes and insert a large rectangle shape to cover your page a bit larger
than the blue margin lines.

3. Right click your mouse, choose Format AutoShape dialogue box, click the Border Art and scroll
down, choose Zig Zag and press OK.

4. Insert a large rectangle shape again. This time only covers half of your page and fill black
colour .
5. Insert golf images and textbox for texts. Don’t forget to set
up the box line colour and text colour based on their
background colours. Format ‘Saturday” and “Westmount
Club” (Ravie, 26, White) and “December 8, 2018” and
“Golf and Country” (Arial Black, 26, Black).

6. Insert a title by using WordArt. You need to create a shape


and shadow for your title.

EXERCISE 1
7. Insert a table and texts (Arial Black, 20). Add
colour (any colour) for your first row.
8. For the Website, insert a text box and texts (Arial
Black, 22). Don’t forget to change background
and text colours.
9. Save this practice as Golf.
