The Coopers

A girl is friends with Phillip and William. These boys love hunting but the Girl can’t stand it.
One day the boys and their father, Mr. Gregg, came home with a dead deer in their hands. The
Girl was so mad that she pointed her magic finger on them all, even Mrs. Gregg. The boys and
their father went to the lake to hunt some wild ducks. They shot sixteen but they couldn’t shoot
four of the other ducks! They went home and the ducks were following them until they arrived at
their house. The next morning they were all half ducks, which means that they had wings instead
of arms and they were really tiny. The ducks were huge and they got men’s arms. The ducks took
over their house and the Greggs built a nest to live in. The ducks threatened them with their guns
and told them 6 out of the 16 ducks they had shot were their family. Mr. Gregg said that he
would never, ever, shoot an animal again in his life and broke their guns into tiny bits. Mrs.
Gregg was mourning for the 16 ducks and the boys were scattering the best barley to please all
the birds. The Greggs changed their name as well. Instead of Greggs they were Eggs.
When the girl arrived at the Eggs' house, she saw all these happening and she was confused. The
boys told her everything that had happened yesterday and she was now pleased. While they were
chatting, they heard a noise coming from the woods. They were gunshots. “Who could it be?”.
The Coopers were shooting some ducks by the lake. The whole family was shooting ducks. The
Girl began running towards the lake. The girl saw the Coopers killing ducks and the magic finger
pointed at them all! “What is going to happen to the Coopers?” she thought and ran back to the
Greggs' farm. The Coopers transformed immediately to ducks! They were common ducks but the
feathers’ colour was different. They were all black. The Coopers ran to the Greggs' farm because
they saw that the Girl did that to them and they wanted her to undo it. The Coopers started
quacking when they arrived at the Greggs' farm.
The Girl arrived to the Eggs’ farm and pointed the Coopers and said to every one who these
ducks were. That was a surprise for the Eggs. She told them everything about the magic finger
and how it works! After two days living in the woods, they went back to normal but it was really
funny how they figured out their mistake.
What’s our mistake, every Cooper was thinking of that until Mr. Egg gave them some food and
told them their mistake. Stop killing ducks. The Coopers regretted, every one of them. They knew
that the ducks or any other animal, did nothing to them. At the end, colors began changing before
their eyes and they ended up on the lovely bright
