Formatting Dates in LinkedIn Report (Daily Level)

After downloading the LI report for ads on a daily level, the dates are not formatted properly and would
not change when simply formatting the column to “Dates”.

To format them properly, open a new, empty Excel document, and follow the steps below.

1. Data  From Text/CSV

2. Choose the file that contains the report you need
3. Go to “Transform Data”
4. Choose dropdown menu in column with the dates, and untick the rows that contain information
that is not dates

5. Choose “ABC” icon next to column name, for the column with dates and choose “Using Locale…”

6. Next, choose Data Type  Date; and Locale  English (United States), and click OK
7. Choose “Close & Load”

8. The dates will now show formatted properly and all in the same way

However, the rows that were in the excel before the table, are not there now. You may
copy/paste them from the original excel report that you downloaded if you need them.
