GROUP PRESENTATION

GUIDELINES

TEACHING VOCABULARY

Instructions:
1. After knowing the principles in teaching vocabulary, please check (TEACHING
VOCABULARY, Longman 1990, p. 23-29).
2. Go to Presenting Vocabulary (p. 24).
3. Read TASK 2 and discuss with your group members, questions number 1, 2, 3, and 6
only.
4. Pick four activities from the activities provided on p. 24-28.
5. Try to use those four activities in combination with one of the language skills (i.e.,
reading, writing, or speaking). Make sure that the teaching follows the stages of:
pre-whilst-post teaching reading/writing/speaking.
6. Elaborate your reasons for choosing the activity (including the stages).
7. You may use any reading/writing/speaking materials and justify your learners.

Requirements:
1. 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A
2. All the group members should have the same chance in delivering the presentation
