LTE

 Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs
(Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility & Service Integrity) for pre-post new sites
cutover. Identifying basic reasons for KPI degradations.

 Responsible for the drive test analysis and taking the necessary action to
improve the performance of the clusters.
 Responsible for maintaining the drive test KPI’s as per pre-defined benchmarks
by the customer.
 Recommending changes for Improving KPI’s Based on Drive Test Logs and
Network Statistics
 Verifying the network performance after implementing the optimization
recommendations.

 Responsible for testing the radio performance for the newly integrated 4G(LTE)
network.

 PCI/RSI Planning
  Redesigning of cells sites azimuth, tilting to overcome overshooting and to cater
the weak coverage spots after integration.
 Implementation and support on module swap & pre-post KPI monitoring.
 OSS KPI monitoring/analysis/optimization/acceptance for sites as well as
clusters.
 XML creation for parameter change and neighbor creations.
 Perform LTE Throughput SCFT drive testing and cluster drive based on customer
requirement.

WCDMA:

 Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs
(Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility & Service Integrity) for pre-post new sites
cutover. Identifying basic reasons for KPI degradations.
 Analyzing Interference, Call Drops, Handover failures, Common Pilot Channel
Received Signal Code Power, Common Pilot Channel Interference Ec/No,
Scrambling Code.
 Drive Test & Field Optimization for Data observation, Analysis and providing
suggestion to enhance Network quality.
 Identification and rectifying in-tera/inter RNC handovers, call drops & other
implementation issues
 Analysis of RF Drive Test logs and tuning of RF parameters such as RSCP, Ec/I0,
BLER, PSC, HSDPA and HSUPA, identification of missing neighbours and defining
the neighbours.
 SCFT, Performed Drive test voice, video calls and R99, MULTIRAB,

GSM:

 Analysis of RF Drive Test logs, RF parameters such as Rx level, Rx Quality, FER,
BER, C/I, DTX, Timing Advance, RL Timeout, BSIC, LAC, CGI, SQI, ARFCN, HSN,
MAIO, BCCH & TCH frequencies.
 Drive Test to identify areas with poor coverage and highest call drops and to
identify the status of site coverage area.
 Attending Customer complaints and proposing solutions and TRAI drive in GSM.
Drive Test Profile:

 Physical audit of site for physical implementation consistency checks..

 Drive Test and Optimization for LTE 2100 MHZ cell sites using GENEX PROBE.
 Proposing antenna azimuth, Tilt, Channel, Adjusting handover etc.
 Analyzing and Post Processing of Log Files.
 Maintain and improve the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the network in
terms of Call Blocking, Dropped Calls etc.
 Identifying site requirements for various clusters in the network and planning
solutions for them.
 Preparing PowerPoint Presentation of Pre & Post Optimization Rx level & Rx
Quality plots.
 RF optimization / drive for cell sites.
 Mapping of signal strength.
 Identify poor coverage/quality areas and provide recommendations for
improving the same.
 Involved in analyzing Coverage, Quality, and Handovers of the network.
 Make sure that new sites are free from swaps to serve better levels of signal.
 Performed monthly drive test and quarterly network benchmarking on assigned
routes maintaining drive test Network Quality Index (NQI) above target through
immediate resolution of problems encountered during drive test.
