Objectives:
1. To examine how social science assist in providing a clearer perspective of a social phenomenon
2. To generate an analysis of a social phenomenon using approaches in social science
An advocacy video has a very specific goal: to raise awareness of a particular problem and spur real
change. It's one thing to utilize an advocacy video to alert viewers to a crucial social issue but encouraging
them to act is how you start a movement and get the positive outcomes.
Procedure:
1. The class will be divided into 2 groups with 12 members each. (See attached file)
2. Each group shall identify a social issue that must be given a high priority.
3. From the social issue identified, each group must create an advocacy video that will educate the
audience on ways to address it and encourage them to take action to create a change.
5. A title must be included in the video and all members must take part in the video.

Laptop and/or Mobile Phone, Pen, and paper
