GTA San Andreas cheat codes: all cheats for Xbox, PS2, PS3 and PC
All GTA San Andreas cheats for every platform.
GTA San Andreas cheat codes are essential for any would-be gangster who wants to skip straight to the action,
granting you the ability to do everything from spawning tanks and weapons to changing the weather.
On this page:
GTA San Andreas Cheats explained: what you need to know about cheat
codes in San Andreas
While entering cheats is all pretty simple, there are a few things to bear in mind when you're thinking of using them.
Here's a quick rundown of what you should know.
Save before you enter them - this is an obvious one, but make sure you always save before entering cheats, just in
case something goes wrong and you cause a little too much havoc.
A lot of cheats can't be deactivated - whilst re-entering most "mode"-style cheats (ones that toggle something on
or off, like slow motion for instance) will bring up a "Cheat Deactivated" notification, we often found when
testing them out that this didn't do anything and the cheat remained active until we quit the game or reloaded a
save. This is another reason to save your game first!
Some of the below cheats are untested - we've tested every single one in the PC section to confirm that they work,
but haven't been able to run through all of their console equivalents. We've cross-referenced them from a few
sources to triple-check, but do just take those with a slight pinch of salt.

GTA San Andreas PC cheat codes - all GTA San Andreas cheats for PC
listed
PC cheats for GTA San Andreas are entered by simply typing the right word on the keyboard at any time. You don't
need to bring up a console command mode or a dialog box, simply type the letters as they appear below, in lower case
or upper case, and the cheat should activate.
GTA San Andreas mobile cheats: can you enter cheat codes in San Andreas
on iOS and Android?
The main question remaining is about the mobile version of San Andreas, where there's no controller or keyboard that
you can use to input the cheats listed above.
Thankfully, you can actually use a workaround to enter cheats if you're really desperate. In brief, you'll need to
download a third-party keyboard app that allows a keyboard to be used as a kind of overlay to any mobile games you're
playing. With that, you can then type in the letter-based cheats as listed in our PC Cheats section, and they'll work as
usual.
We recommend you exercise caution in downloading third-party software of course, so if you're dead set on using
cheats in the mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, do your research first!
