This project plan is intended to provide the basis for establishing a road side rest station for holiday travelers. The information contained in this guide has been developed by the Texas Jaycees who provide this service as a state-wide project during three or more holiday weekends. The United States Jaycees is grateful to the Texas Jaycees and their co-sponsor, Royal Globe Insurance for sharing with our nation the details of this program.

Ask the merchant you trade with in your community several weeks ahead of time to donate the refreshments. Be sure to give recognition to those who contribute and to send thank you notes.
