PATTERN:
See diagram A.1. The whole pattern is worked in stocking stitch. See diagram for your size.
KNITTING TIP:
To avoid the knitting tension becoming tighter when working pattern, it is important the strands at the back are
not tight. Use a larger size needle when working pattern if this is a problem.
CASTING-OFF TIP:
To avoid the cast-off edge being tight you can cast off with a larger size needle. If the edge is still tight, make 1
yarn over after approx. each 8th stitch at the same time as casting off and the yarn overs are cast off as normal
stitches.
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
NECK:
Cast on 72-78-78-84-84-90 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 mm and beige. Knit 1 round then work rib (knit
1/ purl 1) for 10 cm in all sizes. Change to circular needle size 5.5 mm.
Insert 1 marker at the beginning of the round; the yoke will be measured from this marker!
YOKE:
Read KNITTING TIP! Work A.1 over all stitches (= 12-13-13-14-14-15 repeats of 6 stitches). REMEMBER THE
KNITTING TENSION!
AT THE SAME TIME on each round marked with an arrow in A.1, increase stitches as described below:
Arrow-1: Increase 30-30-36-36-36-42 stitches evenly spaced = 102-108-114-120-120-132 stitches (there is now
room for 17-18-19-20-20-22 repeats of A.1 with 6 stitches).
Arrow-2: Increase 24-30-30-36-36-42 stitches evenly spaced = 126-138-144-156-156-174 stitches (there is now
room for 21-23-24-26-26-29 repeats of A.1 with 6 stitches).
Arrow-3: Increase 26-22-24-36-36-42 stitches evenly spaced = 152-160-168-192-192-216 stitches (there is now
room for 19-20-21-24-24-27 repeats of A.1 with 8 stitches).
Arrow-4: Increase 22-26-24-30-36-42 stitches evenly spaced = 174-186-192-222-228-258 stitches (there is now
room for 29-31-32-37-38-43 repeats of A.1 with 6 stitches).
Arrow-5: Increase 26-22-24-26-36-38 stitches evenly spaced = 200-208-216-248-264-296 stitches (there is now
room for 25-26-27-31-33-37 repeats of A.1 with 8 stitches).
Arrow-6: Increase 22-20-24-28-30-22 stitches evenly spaced = 222-228-240-276-294-318 stitches (there is now
room for 37-38-40-46-49-53 repeats of A.1 with 6 stitches).
Arrow-7: Increase 6-16-20-16-14-18 stitches evenly spaced = 228-244-260-292-308-336 stitches.
Continue with beige until the piece measures 21-21-21-26-26-27 cm from the marker on the neck.
Now divide the yoke for the body and sleeves on the next round as follows: Work 34-37-39-43-47-52 stitches as
before (= half the back piece), place the next 46-48-52-60-60-64 stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on
6-6-8-8-10-10 new stitches on the needle (= in side under sleeve), work 68-74-78-86-94-104 stitches as before
(= front piece), place the next 46-48-52-60-60-64 stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on 6-6-8-8-10-10 new
stitches on the needle (= in side under sleeve) and work the remaining 34-37-39-43-47-52 stitches as before (=
half the back piece). Body and sleeves are finished separately. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE!
BODY:
= 148-160-172-188-208-228 stitches. Continue in the round with stocking stitch and beige. Work until the piece
measures 25-27-29-26-28-29 cm from the division (there is approx. 4 cm left to finished length; you can try the
jumper on and work to desired length). Change to circular needle size 4.5 mm and knit 1 round where you
increase 6-6-8-8-10-10 stitches evenly spaced = 154-166-180-196-218-238 stitches. Work rib (knit 1 / purl 1) for
4 cm. Cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl – read CASTING-OFF TIP! The jumper measures approx.
54-56-58-60-62-64 cm from the shoulder down.
SLEEVE:
Place the 46-48-52-60-60-64 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on short circular needle/double
pointed needles size 5.5 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-8-8-10-10 stitches cast on under the sleeve =
52-54-60-68-70-74 stitches. Insert a marker thread in the middle of the 6-6-8-8-10-10 stitches under the sleeve.
Allow the thread to follow your work onwards; it will be used when decreasing under the sleeve. Work stocking
stitch in the round, with beige. When the piece measures 3 cm start to decrease under the sleeve - read
DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 5-4½-3½-2-2½-2 cm a total of 6-7-8-12-11-13 times =
40-40-44-44-48-48 stitches. When the sleeve measures 31-32-32-28-29-29 cm from the division, change to
double pointed needles size 4.5 mm. Work rib (knit 1 / purl 1) for 4 cm. Cast off with knit over knit and purl over
purl. The sleeve measures approx. 35-36-36-32-33-33 cm. Work the other sleeve in the same way.
ASSEMBLY:
Fold the top of the neck down to the wrong side and fasten so you have a folded edge. To avoid the neck-edge
being tight and rolling down, it is important that the seam is elastic.
= beige
= moss green

always check the original pattern for measurements and calculations.
If we get a report of a potential error, we will review the pattern and make the correction if necessary. This will be done normally within 7
to 10 working days. If no correction is made, it means that we weren't able to find any error/mistake.
