POLLUTION BY NOXIOUS LIQUID SUBSTANCES
IN BULK
WHERE/WHEN DISCHARGE PERMITTED
Noxious Liquid Substances (Annex II) Category X Tanks to be prewashed before leaving unloading port, residues to be pumped
ashore until the concentration of the substance in the effluent is 0.1% by weight or
less. Any water subsequently added may be discharged if:
Ship is proceeding en route at a speed of at least 7 knots; and
Discharge below the waterline; and
Ship is > 12 nm from nearest land and depth of water is >25m.
Noxious Liquid Substances (Annex II) High- Prewash in accordance with Convention, residues to be pumped ashore until tank
viscosity or is empty. Any water subsequently added may be discharged if:
solidifying Ship is proceeding en route at a speed of at least 7 knots; and
Category Y Discharge below the waterline; and
Ship is > 12 nm from nearest land and depth of water is >25m.

Sampah (Garbage) adalah semua jenis limbah sisa makanan, limbah domestik,
limbah kegiatan, semua plastik, sisa muatan, minyak bekas sisa memasak yang
Sampah tidak terpakai, jaring ikan, bangkai binatang yang dihasilkan selama kegiatan
kapal secara normal dan dapat dibuang secara terus menerus atau secara
periodik, kecuali bahan-bahan seperti minyak, bahan cair beracun atau kotoran
sebagaimana didefinisikan di atas, tidak termasuk ikan segar.
Garbage does not include fresh fish and parts thereof generated as a result of fishing activities undertaken
during the voyage, or as a result of aquaculture activities which involve the transport of fish including shelfish
for placement in the aquaculture facility and the transport of harvested fish including shelfish from such
facilities to shore for processing
