FAQs – Room Benefits Program

Q: When and how frequently does the company update the promo codes?

Corporate Sales and Marketing team will release a new set of promo codes for complimentary room, associate rate

Q: Where can I find the promo codes?

A: Please visit the local Talent and Culture office for information.

Q: How can I search for availability and make a reservation?

A: Step 1: Visit the booking page of each brand (rosewoodhotels.com/ khos.com / newworldhotels.com).
Step 2: Enter the a) respective promo code, b) staying period, c) number of rooms and d) number of guests.
Step 3: Continue with the booking if room is available.

Q: Can I use the benefits in other brands of the Company?

A: Yes, you can use the benefits across brands under the new policy.
Q: How to calculate my complimentary room night entitlement?

A: All eligible associates are entitled to this benefit upon commencement with the Company.
For the first year of employment (first calendar year), it is calculated on a pro-rata basis:

For second calendar year onward, associates are entitled to 12 complimentary room nights from 1 January.

Q: Can I carry unused complimentary room night to next year?

A: Unused complimentary room nights cannot be carried forward to the future years and should be applied and used in
the current calendar year (1 January to 31 December).
If an associate applies for a 3-night stay at Rosewood Beijing from 29 December 2020 to 1 January 2021 (3 nights),
2 nights (29 - 31 December 2020) will be deducted from the 2020 entitlement and 1 night (31 December 2020 – 1
January 2021) will be deducted from 2021 entitlement.

Q: Can I share the promo codes for complimentary room and associate rate with others?
A: Promo codes for complimentary room and associate rate are highly confidential. You should never share the codes
with external parties. Any misconduct will lead to disciplinary actions, up to and including termination of
employment.
Q: Can I apply for a second complimentary room for my friends?
A: No, complimentary room nights are only for you and your immediate family members traveling together (i.e. spouse / domestic
partner (approved / authorized prior to the stay), parents, children, siblings and grandparents). Instead, you can apply for
associate rate (if staying with the guest) or friends and family rate (if you are not accompanying guest).

Q: Can I apply for two complimentary rooms with different staying period?
A: Yes. You can apply for a maximum of 2 rooms and 3 room nights per room (i.e. a total of 6 room nights) per stay.
2 rooms for 1 night is counted as 2 room nights.
For example, you can apply for 3 complimentary room nights for 1 room and 2 complimentary room nights for another room.
However, you must stay throughout the whole period (i.e. 3 nights in this case) which means that you cannot check out first
and allow your immediate family member(s) to continue to stay. Same conditions apply to associate rate.

Q: Can I enjoy the spa and F& B discount if I am not staying at the hotel?
A: No, you can only enjoy the discounts if you stay at the hotel with your complimentary room entitlement or at associate rate.

Q: Do I need to present any document to get discounts during my patronage of an outlet / a spa?
A: No. You are required to charge the bill (before any discounts) to your room. Thus, you never settle bills immediately after your
patronage. Upon check out, the front office associate will calculate the discounts (F&B / spa and wellness) and present you the
discounted price for your consumption.
Q: Are there any discounts for the items not listed on the policy?

A: Other discounts are subject to individual hotels’ offers.

Q: Can I apply for the F&F rate at my current hotel? If yes, can I visit or dine with the guest while they are on property?

A: Yes, you or your friends and family can apply for an F&F rate at your current hotel and you can visit and dine with them when
you are off duty.

Q: How soon can I apply for a room benefit?


A: You can apply for room benefits no more than 60 days before your stay but at least 7 days in advance.

Q: Can I apply for complimentary room stay in the same property more than once a year? Is there any restriction?
A: Yes, you can apply for complimentary stay in the same property more than once a year. However, you can only apply for the
same hotel after 30 calendar days from the last stay. You may try to apply for associate rate or friend and family rate if you
want to stay longer.
Q: How do I know if a F&B or spa and wellness facility is operated by the hotel / Rosewood?

A: A welcome letter will be presented to you upon check-in stating all the discounts offered by the hotel. Otherwise, please check
with front office associates upon check-in for the most accurate information.

Q: What if I am not able to present any of the required document?

A: You will be charged at the prevailing rate. No exceptions.

Q: Can I pass my original associate ID card to my family and let them check-in without my presence for complimentary
room or associate rate? I am one of the staying guests, but I will check in later.
A: No, you must present your associate ID card, personal ID document and the confirmation email upon check-in in person. You
should never allow anyone, except yourself use your original associate ID card. Such misconduct is subject to disciplinary
action, up to and including termination of employment. (applicable to corporate associates only)

Q: How can I report a misconduct or abuse of the benefits?


A: Contact local Talent and Culture department of your entity or report through the Company’s reporting platform
(rwhg.ethicspoint.com)

• Refer to REW-Global-CTC 2.001 - Room Benefits Program for more details of these benefits. If there is any inconsistency or
ambiguity between these FAQs and the policy (“REW-Global-CTC 2.001 - Room Benefits Program”), the policy shall prevail.

• Should you have any inquiries or concerns, please contact Talent and Culture team for clarification.

• Appropriate conduct and professionalism (as well as that of those people in your party or those you offer the benefit) are expected
whileutilizing any of the room benefits.

• Any misconduct during the stay may result in loss of room benefits and/or disciplinary action, up to and including termination of
employment. Such misconduct would put your business entity or division at risk of losing the benefits for all other associates.
