Voiced “Th” to D Words

This combination of consonants is often tricky, so it’s a good idea to


practice. To pronounce these sounds together, we will avoid putting a
pause or a break between the sounds. We will slide from the “th”
position with your tongue between your teeth, then move to the /d/
position with your tongue on the alveolar ridge. There is no vowel or
“eh” sound between these two consonants.
