(b) Click on the Name Application, Incorporation and Amalgamation hyperlink to proceed to Local Company Main Page, where Name Application, Incorporation and Amalgamation subheader is expanded. (OR) (a) Click on the By Entities hyperlink in the quick access menu. (b) Click on the Local Company hyperlink. (c) Click on the Name Application, Incorporation and Amalgamation hyperlink to expand the sub-header.

APPLY FOR A NEW COMPANY NAME Notes (a) The Maintain Transaction Page will be displayed if there is an un-submitted transaction that was previously saved by the user. (b) To proceed further, 1. Select Continue with Existing Transaction to continue with the un-submitted transaction that was previously saved by the user, OR select New Transaction to remove the previously saved record and allow the user to begin a new transaction. 2. Click on the Next button to proceed with filing the transaction. (c) At any point of time during the transaction, the user can click on the Home hyperlink on the top menu bar to go back to home page.

Click on the check name button, 3. The relevant/appropriate message will be displayed. (c) Click on the search for activity button to view the company activity list page. (d) Click on the Reset button to proceed to clear all the entered values. (e) Click on the Save & Next button to proceed to enter details page.

APPLY FOR A NEW COMPANY NAME Notes (f) If the intended company will be a public company limited by guarantee, either select an appropriate suffix for the proposed name OR tick the checkbox to make a declaration that approval has been obtained from the Minister to register as a company without the addition of the word Limited or Berhad to its name.

This declaration will be displayed when Company Limited by Guarantee is selected as Company Type. (g) If the intended company will be a Public Accounting Corporation, 1. Select an appropriate PAC suffix to form part of the proposed name. 2. The Public Accounting Corporation section will then be displayed.

This section will be displayed when a Public Accounting Corporation suffix is selected under Proposed Name. (h) If the intended company will take over a business, 1. Select Yes to indicate that the company will take over the business. 2. Enter the valid Business Registration No. 3. Click on the icon to retrieve the Business Information. 4. The proposed name of the intended company must be the same as the business name to be taken over. The user will be required to declare that the business would be terminated before incorporating the intended company.

This section will display when the intended company will take over the business.

(b) Click on the Next button to proceed to Add Approval from Other Authorities (if applicable) OR to Review Application Page. (c) Click on the Delete button to remove the selected records from the list. (d) All the mandatory fields marked by * must be entered. (e) To retrieve people profile information, 1. Enter an Identification No. that exists in the ACRA database. 2. Click on the icon 3. The system will retrieve the relevant persons particulars. (f) To retrieve postal code information, 1. Enter a valid postal code 2. Click on the icon 3. The system will retrieve the Block/House number, Street Name and Building/Estate Name (if applicable). (g) Click on the Add button to add the director / shareholder / member. (h) Click on the Back button to return to company information page. (i) Click on the Reset button to clear all entered values. (j) Click on the Save & Next button to add the director / shareholder / member and proceed to Add Approval from Other Authorities (if applicable) OR to Review Application Page.

The system will retrieve the registration number, name and address of the corporate entity. (l) To search for corporate entities, 1. Select a Shareholder Category 2. Do not enter a registration number OR enter an invalid registration number 3. Click on the Search button 4. The Search Corporate Entity Page will be displayed.
