I. Essay 

1. Based on the terminologies, explain this statement “All police officials are law enforcement
officials, but not all law enforcement officials are police officials”. (10 points)  

-for me my understanding of this question “All police officers are law enforcement officials
"are enforcing the law in our society and they will enforce the terms to protect lives and
properties, to ensure public safety and to maintain peace and order. Because of this they are
able to do their job as enforcers of our society. I will understand from this statement "but not
all law enforcement officers are police officials" is not all law enforcement officers are police
but it is also up to the person how he will follow our law and thus he cannot do against the
law. Because of these words “All police officers are law enforcement officials, but not all law
enforcement officials are police officials” Is I have learned that it is not only the police who
enforce but it is up to us how we can follow it without breaking the law and in abundance we
maintain peace in our society It is good to see that no one is breaking the law and that we
can implement the term peace and order in our society.

2. Based on the terminologies presented, what are the two most significant terminologies
that you have learned? (10 points)  

-For me, the two important things I learned in our lecture are length of service and off duty.
The length of service is how long our police service is and on the first day of our oath of office,
our journey to becoming law enforcement began. Actually there is really nothing to base on the
length of the service but I know how we will implement it because even if you are new to the
service and I will implement the law properly, you will not have any problems in the future. Off
duty or better known as on call, this is one of the things that sticks in my mind because even if a
policeman is off duty when there is a crime going on around him, he will respond immediately
because of his sworn duty to society. Becoming a police officer means that you spend more time
enforcing the law because when you take the oath of office, you dedicate your life to enforcing
the law in our society.
