ESTRUCTURAS GUÍA

1. The Simple Present Tense:

 Making the workplace safe includes providing instructions, procedures, training, and

supervision to encourage people to work safely and responsibly.

 The use of personal protective equipment contributes to reducing health expenses.

 The masks allow us to protect the lungs from polluted air.

 The helmet protects the head, for example, from falling materials.

 Goggles protect the eyes, for example from flying particles or splashes of corrosive liquids.
 People often neglect their eye safety, but taking your vision for granted would be greatly

regretted in the case of an accident particularly if it could have been easily avoided. Eye

protection means that your eyes are safe from flying debris, dust and hazardous liquids that

could damage your vision.

 Gloves protect the skin, for example, from contact with corrosive materials or hot surfaces.

 Wear boots and safety shoes with a protective toe cap and well boots with penetration

resistant midsoles and specific footwear, for example cast iron boots and chainsaw boots.
