How the resource would be [What are the pedagogical practices you will use to enable learning, how will you ensure academic
used rigour (what is the knowledge, skills, capacities that could be developed)?]

1. Warmup game: Stone, Bridge and Tree. Ask questions about how to position ourselves to look like a
stone, a bridge and a tree. Explain the rules of the game and make instructions.
 Develop students’ understanding of spatial concepts;
 Develop students’ understanding of rules and collaborating with others while playing;
 Explore FMS: Locomotion: running, jumping and crawling.

2. Weme. Do you know the game “weme” and then introduce some Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
histories and cultures to students. Explain the rules and safety issues like throwing balls below waist height,
no vigorous throwing, etc. and play the game.
 Develop students’ understanding of spatial concepts;
 Develop students’ understanding of rules and collaborating with others while playing;
 Explore FMS: Object control skill: throwing the ball at a target.

Why it is beneficial (How might the resource be meaningful to students, connect to their life-world experiences, relate to them
