Terminologies in Graphic Organizers

Group Activities: From your readings, work on the following:

1. Make graphic organizers that express your understanding of the interrelatedness of the
different terminologies:

a) on similarities and differences among measurement, assessment, and evaluation in the


context of student assessment by using different parameters such as kind of data being
used, question/s to answer, time frame, scope/coverage of action to take,
tools/instruments; and
b) on the interrelatedness of Assessment FOR Learning, Assessment AS Learning, and
Assessment OF Learning.

2. Make a flow chart of the terminologies (assessment, evaluation, measurement, test, testing)
that would reflect the process of evaluating student learning.
