My name is Mirage Joshi, and I would like to apply for the position of a intern architect. I am a recent
graduate of architecture from KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, India and a University
Innovation Fellow at the d.school of Stanford University.
My objective is to work towards an efficient built environment and sustainable living conditions. I have
been exploring the field of sustainability throughout my academic years. I recently completed my thesis
and successfully defended it in Regenerative Design. I intend to craft my path in this same direction
and I have known the firm’s expertise in the subject. I’d love the opportunity to work with your firm
that supports these values in the field of design. I am looking for a position where I can explore the field
of design, and innovation.
I am one of the students selected for the UIF program at Stanford which needed a considerable amount
of hard work and determination. I also was the Cultural Coordinator for the National Association for
Students of Architecture at my university. During my studies, I gained extensive knowledge of various
aspects of architecture which are important for the role. I also hold a certification in the course – Circular
Economy for a Sustainable Built Environment from TUDelft.
In my work experience, I interned at Manthan Design Studio where I developed my skill in the
presentation of detailed project designs. It helped me from understanding the process of design to
presenting it to the clients to the execution of the projects. I got a chance to explore and improve my
skill-set while handling different projects at different stages. I can use and have experience with various
industry software programs, such as SketchUp, Revit3D, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Lumion. Given a
chance to work with you, I will be able to learn and get my hands on more skills.
I am an ambitious, communicative individual, a team worker who is passionate about working towards
a sustainable and regenerative built environment. I would really love the opportunity to go through an
interview at the firm. I would be privileged to work with your esteemed organization. I believe that my
abilities are in perfect line for working at your firm. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
