Summary:
As per the research paper the main aim of this application is the automation of crime records
and more efficient and effective crime reporting. The main access to all the databases is
monitored by a single admin and the main module of this application is the “crime module”
which operates systematically by analyzing crime reports that is counterchecked with law and
order by the admin and then forwarded to the “criminal record” which goes to the FIR charge
sheet. Firstly, a system analysis analyzes the working and functionality and design of the
application on different parameters. Foremost, limitations of established physical crime
reporting system (existing system) are solved through this computerized application
(proposed system).
Secondly, a feasibility study is performed which inquire that the completion of the project will
serve the purpose of the organization for the amount of work, effort and the time that spend on
it. As per the study technical, economical, and behavioral feasibilities of the application
is taken in account. This system is developed using JAVA and is technically feasible as it
supports older versions and offer updates at the same time. Furthermore, the economic
feasibility of the suggested system does not require any physical labor because it is being created
as part of a project make it cost effective. Lastly, the behavioral feasibility analyzes the user-
friendly aspect of any proposed system and any adverse effects of the system on the
environment. Through extensive research it is determined that the project is behaviorally viable
after thoroughly examining all behavioral factors. Advantages, disadvantages and further
enhancement: The system is much more organized, cost effective and user friendly and
provides better services than the former. additionally, it is more economically feasible option as
the resources are already readily available and no manual labor is included. As an online system
it has security risk. A QR code that can scan increasing privacy.
