Respected Sir/Madam,

On behalf of the students, staff, and faculty of Aitchison College, it gives us

great pleasure to invite you to the thirteenth annual Aitchison College Model
United Nations Conference (ACMUN XIII) being held from the 2nd to the 5th of
February, 2023.

The Aitchison College Model United Nations Society was established in 2009 as one
of the earliest and most successful Model UN societies in Pakistan. Each year, the
society welcomes hundreds of delegates from across the country and beyond in
hosting its flagship event, the ACMUN conference. This four day event is a mock
simulation of the United Nations Organization, serving as a platform where students
can step into the shoes of diplomats from various countries. In the process, they
become more adept at acquiring various perspectives to an international problem,
improve at critical thinking and problem solving, and grow as eloquent and
effective speakers. Delegates take part in various UN committees with the aim of
solving global issues of relevance. These committees are chaired and run by our
most talented students, with a diverse range of experience at MUN conferences, both
local and international. The event will be conducted via a hybrid model to
accomodate international teams and delegations that wish to attend online.

The ACMUN conference has consistently been a resounding success, attracting over
800 delegates each year, some from international institutions, and cementing its
place as the largest international high school Model United Nations conference in
Lahore, and indeed, one of its kind, in Pakistan. Our students have also been
successful in some of the most esteemed MUNs around the world, winning "Best
Delegation" awards at conferences such as Harvard Model United Nations, Asian
International Model United Nations, and Berkeley International Model United
Nations, among many others. Most notably, won the overall Best Delegation at HMUN
China for two years in a row.
