Pest Threat
• The house fly, also known as Musca domestica and fruit fly are two of the most common pest
in city, urban and rural areas.
• Other than being a nuisance, flies plays a big part in the transmission of diseases such as

cholera, dysentery and typhoid fever to human via food.
• Flies frequently found and feed in filthy areas such as garbage bins, human and animal waste,
rotting vegetables and fruit materials; and other decomposing organic matter.
Fruit Fly • Bacteria present in these filthy environments will stick to the parts of the fly and subsequently
transferred on human food causing food contamination.

Rentokil’s Integrated Flies Management combines good sanitation practices, the use of fly control solutions and regular
monitoring programme for a comprehensive and holistic defence approach to managing flies effectively while complying
with our strict health and safety standards.

1. Exclusion & Restriction

 Regular housekeeping and good sanitation by customer in both indoor and outdoor are vital to minimise flies
infestation. A good housekeeping practice will remove potential breeding ground for flies.

2. Treatment
 Innovative, market leading control measures which target the different stages of a fly life cycle.

3. Monitoring
 Continuously monitor for any signs of fly activity with suitable indoor and/or outdoor monitoring solution and
scheduled inspection.
Please note that we require your help to ensure the devices installed are not disturbed or switched off as this may affect the treatment
effectiveness. Any missing or damaged units due to negligence of customer are required to be replaced with a chargeable fee.

Your contract includes a myRentokil account. It is an online
pest management system designed and built by Rentokil. It is
accessible by all devices, giving you key information complete
with service records that is stored online, replacing traditional
paper reports. Your user access will be created for you upon
contract commencement.
