ON-THE- SPOT SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST


ICT MONTH 2023

DATE: June 13, 2023


TIME: 1:00 p.m.
VENUE: AVR

DETAILED MECHANICS:
1. The contest is open to all grade 8 students. ONE (1) Participants per section.
2. Each participant should have one (1) entry only.
3. During the contest proper the students should bring the following:
a. Half white illustration board
b. Coloring materials: oil pastel/craypas, markers, and watercolor (to be provided by the contestant)
*Bringing other necessary materials is allowed such as erasers, sharpeners, rulers, etc.
4. The participants will be held accountable to any issues that may arise with regards to the originality and
authenticity of the design. The 3 winners output will be exhibited at the STEP CLUB bulletin board after the
contest.
5. The slogans will be judged according to the following criteria:
Originality - 30%
Relevance to the theme - 30%
Creativity - 25%
Impact and Overall presentation - 15%
100%
6. There will be three (3) winners for the contest: 2nd Place, 1st Place and Champion.
7. The winners will receive Certificate of Recognition and a Medal.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
All registered participants must keep in mind the following rules:
1. The medium of language to be used in making a slogan should be in English.
2. The slogan should be original, there should be no plagiarism or else the entry will be disqualified.
3. The participants should come to the venue at 12:30pm for attendance and preparation.
4. The participants should avoid using cellphones during the event.
5. The participants should avoid sharing materials with other participants.
6. Bring the required materials and supplies.
7. Bring the permit and letters.
