group) Society at University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar under the Department of
Electrical Engineering

Dear Sir,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. On behalf of the esteemed
Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, I am
writing to seek your support and cooperation in registering the IET Society(on campus group) under
our department.

I am acutely aware of the numerous benefits that an affiliation with the IET society(on campus
group) would bring to our faculty members and students. The IET society(on campus group), an
internationally recognized professional body, is steadfast in its commitment to promoting excellence,
knowledge-sharing, and professional development in the field of engineering and technology. By
aligning ourselves with this society, we can take significant strides toward advancing our department's
academic and research capabilities.

Allow me to elaborate on the manifold advantages of registering the IET society under the
Department of Electrical Engineering at UET Peshawar:

technical resources, including journals, publications, and research papers. This wealth of
knowledge and expertise would greatly benefit our faculty members and students, enabling

that registration with the IET(on campus group) is not only advantageous for our department
but also a requirement set by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), the regulatory body for
engineering education and professional engineering practices in Pakistan. PEC places significant
importance on the documentation and record-keeping of student activities within their
respective departments. The affiliation with the IET under our Electrical Department will ensure
that our students' activities are properly recorded and documented, meeting the PEC's
requirements. By being registered with the IET, we can provide comprehensive and reliable
records of our students' involvement and achievements in the field of electrical engineering,

In addition to these advantages, it is important to note that registration with the an

internationally recognized society is a requirement of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The PEC,
being the regulatory body for engineering education and professional engineering practices in
Pakistan, places great emphasis on student activities within their respective departments. Registration
with the IET will enable us to meet the requirements set forth by the PEC and ensure that our students'
activities are properly documented and acknowledged.
Considering the aforementioned advantages and the PEC's requirements, I humbly request your
esteemed support and assistance in initiating the registration process of the Institution of Engineering
and Technology (IET on campus group) under the Electrical Department at UET Peshawar.
