RADIOLOGIST’S REPORT

CRANIAL CT NON CONTRAST

TECHNIQUE:
Serial axial non contrast studies were done.

FINDINGS:
Bilateral basal ganglia calcifications noted
Brain parenchyma (cerebrum and cerebellum) show normal cortical sulcation.
The white matter show normal density of the periventricular white matter.
The cerebral ventricles are of normal size and symmetrically arranged.
The basal ganglia, internal capsule, corpus callosum, thalamus and brain stem appear
normal.
The subarachnoid spaces and cerebellopontine angle areas on both sides are within
normal limits. There are no signs of increased intracranial pressure.
Sella, Parasellar structures and pituitary are normal.
No evidence of altered density or mass effect or atrophy.
The orbital contents and Paranasal sinuses are normal.
The skull bones (calvarium) are normal.

IMPRESSION:
BILATERAL BASAL GANGLIA CALCIFICATIONS
NO SIGNIFICANT BRAIN ABNORMALITY IS SEEN
