Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) for the Targeted Nationwide Rollout in 2022”
on July 21, 2022, at 1:30 PM- 5:00 PM at Plenary Hall, Negros Oriental Convention Center,
Dumaguete City.
It is understood that the said travel is official. Travel expenses to and from the target destination,
and allowable per diems will be shouldered by LGU Zamboanguita and subject to the availability
of funds and usual accounting and auditing.

They have been informed that illegal fishing, commercial fishing, and the destruction of
marine resources are still occurring within the permitted 15.1 km above the shoreline (RA
10654-an act to prevent, deter, and eliminate illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing,
amending Republic Act No. 8550, also known as "The Philippine Fisheries Code of
1998"), from the Municipality of Manjuyod up to the Siaton area. Because of this
activity, local fisherfolk are losing their daily source of income. The fact that we must use
caution in this circumstance raises serious concerns.
