The perspective of Gandhinagar University is “high quality pedagogy plus choice-based credit
system” with continuous performance management of the students to transform them to ‘ready for
industry’ in accordance with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Most of the programs of this
University cover internship with local industry and businesses with research and innovation focus.

digital infrastructure is located in a pollution-free
environment with a number of amenities that gives a
homely feel.

knowledge-sharing platforms for regular affairs such as
workshops, certificate courses, conferences, expert talks,
and training programs for all the stake holders of the
University.
Resource Centre: State-of-the-art facilities. Large
collection of books, journals, periodicals and magazines.
Core Strength: Well-qualified, experienced, dedicated,
and committed faculty members are the real architects for
paving the path for the student’s knowledge enhancement
and growth. Most of the faculty members are either a
doctorate or pursuing their doctoral degrees.

State of the Art Laboratories: Well-equipped Labs with all
necessary equipment, softwares and instruments in all
departments, 3D Printer Lab, Fab Lab, IOT Lab and many more.
Transportation Facility: Available for major locations across
Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar for all staff and students. AMTS bus
service to the University is also available from major areas of the city.
Canteen: Spacious canteen that caters to the taste of all the
students by providing healthy, wholesome food and beverages.

Amphi-theatre: Spacious open Air Theatre to accommodate
2000+ students.
Open Air Theatre: The open air theatre at Gandhinagar University
is spacious enough to accommodate around 2000 students
comfortably.
ATM: Nationalized Bank ATM facility is available on campus.
Hostel Facilities: Available near the University. There is a full-
fledged mess facility for the students staying in the hostels.
Sports Facilities: Ample space for indoor games like carom, chess,
table tennis etc. and outdoor sports activities like cricket, football,
basketball etc.

At Gandhinagar University, we strive to provide a balanced mix of
teaching pedagogy that focuses on theories, basic concepts, and
hands-on learning. Our faculty members use interactive methods

Gandhinagar University - IQAC has been
established in 2019 with focus to ensure the
effective implementation of quality initiatives
through a combination of self and external quality
evaluation, promotion, and sustenance initiatives.
The IQAC strives for excellence in academic and
administrative activities of the University. The Cell
ensures continuous improvement in the entire
operations of the University & develops a quality
system for conscious, consistent, & programmed
action to improve the academic & administrative
performance of the University as well as it
promotes measures for driving institutional
functioning towards quality enhancement and
institutionalization of best practices.
Gandhinagar University Anveshan - Research
Cell It promotes a research culture. The prime
objective of the cell is to motivate faculty
members and students to contribute to the
society and Industry to bring sophistication
through their high caliber research in multi-
disciplinary areas.
Gandhinagar University Innovation Cell It
promotes innovation centric activities and
develops the Startup Ecosystem in the institute
and support the student innovations through
mentoring and financial support. The facility of
Fabrication (FAB) Lab and Incubation Center is
available at the institute.
ACTIVITIES
• Government of Gujarat (GOG) has successfully
utilized SSIP 1.0 grant approved under Student
Startup Innovation Policy (SSIP) in July-2018.
The MOU has been signed between SSIP and
GIT to utilize the grant of Rs 30 Lac to nurture the
startup ecosystem at the institute under SSIP
1.0.
