Mr. John Clarke

Principal of St. John’s High School
#236 Aston Bay, St. John

Dear Sir,

I am Kaylynn Mahabir writing to inform you of the events that took place in the Science laboratory
during the period before lunch. Mr. Daly, our teacher, left the classroom to attend parent whom he had
called in. He left us to work in the meanwhile. Two students Mary St Rose and Andrew Campbell took
sheets of paper and rolled them into a ball and began to throw them at each other. Mary threw the ball
to Andrew, but he did not catch it.

The ball hit a set of beakers on the desk next to them causing them to fall and break. Mary and Andrew
began to panic, and the class was in shock as Mr. Daly was spotted returning to class. When Mr. Daly
returned to the Science laboratory and saw the broken beakers on the floor, he enquired about what
happened, but the class remained silent. He then asked us to clean the area and told us that our parents
would be contacted to pay for the broken beakers.

Yours Sincerely,
Kaylynn Mahabir
