VISION :-
To become a center of excellence in curative, promotive and
preventive health care provided by quality driven well motivated and client’s
focused staff.
MISSION :-
To collaborate with all stakeholders to ensuring that all our clients are
adequately informed about health and have equitable access to high care and
related intervention.
INTRODUCTION:
Report from nursing department for the month of JUNE 2017.
The department cares for all patient detained, admitted and performs procedures
including daily injection, wound dressing and assisting in both major and minor
surgeries.
We also care for surgical, medical, orthopedic, obstetrics and gynecology cases
given exceptional care to all clients.

TARGET FOR THE MONTH


1. To receive patient and relatives in a cordial manner.
2. To establish good rapport between the nurses , co-workers , patient and
relatives.
3. To allay anxiety and fear in patient and relatives.
4. To ensure effective and safe administer of prescribed treatment to patient
by observing the five right of medication.

c. Right dosage
d. The right time
e. The right route
5.To educate patients on prevention and recurrence of their conditions.
6. To create healthy awareness in individuals and groups.
ADMISSION AND DETAINEES:
For the month of August 2017, a total of 45 clients were cared for,38
admitted and 7 were detained and observed for 24hrs and discharged home.
35 were adults and 10 were children,4 company workers, 1 was referred, no
staff were on admission and 2 death occurred. All 42 patients were discharged
home in a stable and satisfactory condition. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
CONDITIONS CARED FOR:-
MEDICIALS :-
Severe Malaria , Sepsis, RTI, Asthma, DM, Acute GERD, Chronic
sinusitis, Hypertension, Entheric Fever, CVA, URTI, Hypoclycemia, Depresion,
Malaria.

SURGICAL:-
Appendicitis, Acute abdomain, Renal Colic, Benign Left Leg
Tumour, CA prostate, Abrassion.
ORTHOPAEDIS:-
Luber- sacral Spondylosis, Osteoporosis, Multilevel disc
degeneration, Musculoskeletal Tear, Sprain and Muskeloscletal pains.
OBS&GYNAE:-
Cysis with Malaria, Hypreamisis Gravidanium, Incomplete
Abortion, Disfunctional uterine bleeding(D.U.B), Severe pre eclampsia, Multiple
pregnancy with Mal presentation(Leading Twin).

PROCEDURES PERFORMED INCLUDE:
Wound dressing, Caesarean Section, Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery.

STAFF STRENGTH:
The department is managed by 11 nurses including 3 attachment personnels.

CHALLENGES: The unit has no major challenges to be addressed by management.
CONCLUSION: In conclusion, all patients who were discharged went home in a
stable condition and satisfied with all our services. ALL PRAISES BELONG TO GOD
ALMIGHTY AMEN!
