HABITANTS IN PANAMA ACCORD TO THE LAST CENSUS The Comptroller General of the Republic through National Institute of Statistics and Census presented on this occasion the special bulletin called "Basic End Results," with information obtained during the XI National Census of Population and Housing VII, was lifted on May 16 2010. This publication presents the main characteristics of both the population, such as housing and households by province and includes comparative tables with data from the last three censuses, which reflect changes and population dynamics of the country. Importantly, after completion of the lifting of the Eleventh Census Population and Housing VII checks were carried out at national level with the order to ensure the quality and coverage of the Census which took us to visit Some households in the country again. However, it is recognized that persists a slight omission preliminary census estimated at 3 percent, without But not until when developing population estimates with support of the Latin American Demographic Center to be determined, as in previous censuses census officially omission. The valuable and varied information is delivered timely to the user made possible by financial support since 2006 the Central Government gave the program the National Census 2010, Technical Assistance provided by the Population Fund, United Nations, the support received Ministry of Education, the National Police, State Border Service, Naval Air Service, Maritime Authority, Civil Aviation Corps Fire, SINAPROC, civic clubs, organized groups, and very particularly the citizenship of citizens who were instrumental to this research. In all, the Comptroller General of the Republic and particular the National Institute of Statistics and Census, I appreciated the support individual and collective allowed this activity to meet public interest and national interest
