2AG/2AK English Language 60 minutes TOPIC UNIT 5 : Free Time SUB-TOPIC Days of the week THEME World of Self, Family and Friends By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:- LEARNING Listen and do actions to demonstrate meaning in 3 words correctly OBJECTIVE(S) and 2 simple sentences with guidance . Pre-lesson 1. Review instructions . Lesson Delivery ( SB page 68 ) 2. Pre-teach start and cover . 3. Play the recording and act out the story to the class . 4. Play the recording again and pupils act out the story with teacher . LEARNING 5. Pupils look at the pictures in their SB and try to sequence them OUTLINES . 6. Play the recording a third time for pupils to sequence the pictures . 7. They compare the order in pairs . Check with the class . Post lesson 8. Pupils work in groups of 4 . They adapt the story and changing the instrument, activity or some instructions . 9. Groups mime and then read their stories .

Pre-lesson 1. Review healthy and unhealthy activities . Lesson delivery ( SB page 67 ) 2. Read the activity instructions with the class and make sure they know what to do . 3. Pre-teach hours . 4. Pupils ask 6 friends and record their answers in the table . 5. Discuss the results as a class . LEARNING 6. Show pupils how to make a bar chart . Make an example one OUTLINES on a board . 7. Pupils make bar charts of their results individually . 8. Talk about the bar chart on the board , adapting the speech bubble as appropriate. 9. Pupils take turns to hold up their charts and repeat one piece of information . Post lesson 10. Review what pupils learnt in the lesson today .
