    The person I admire Mario Vargas Llosa was born in Arequipa on


    March 28, 1936, in Lima. He has studied law and letters at the
    National University of San Marcos. Also, a very important fact in his
    career is his admission to the Leoncio Prado military academy
    where he was inspired to write his famous novel "The city and the
    dogs".

    In addition, he is the first Spanish-speaking author who has been


    awarded in the last 20 years, the most notable being the Nobel Prize
    for Literature in 2010, for his "mapping of power structures and
    steely images of resistance, rebellion, and the defeat of the
    individual", which was awarded by the Swedish Academy

    Finally, this character that I admire is one of the most iconic and
    important in Peru, being recognized nationally and internationally, for
    receiving important awards and being one of those who still has the
    life to continue representing us and leave Peru high.
