The number of trees

are decreasing day by
day as shown.

Why we need Forest Conservation Act?

Forests are being wiped out and trees are being

cut down at a rapid rate. To meet the other needs
of humans, we are losing sight of the bigger

Due to rapid deforestation, the cycle of nature
is itself being disrupted. Therefore, the need to
bring about a law to ensure the preservation
of forest was needed.

breath, for the wood we use.
Besides providing habitats for animals and
livelihoods for humans, forest also offer
watershed protection, prevents soil erosion,
mitigate climate change.

provide jobs for more than 13 million people
