I’m writing this to recommend Ramakrishnan for the Radio Astronomy Winter School (RAWS-

2022). For a long, since I’m seeing Ramakrishnan and his passion and interest for Astronomy, I strongly
believe that he would be the right person for the Radio Astronomy program, and he has been
consistently improving skills and knowledge through various platforms.

Ramakrishnan is a dedicated and skillful college student. He is academically very good, and he is
a person with a positive attitude. I have likewise been impressed how Ramakrishnan gets along with
everyone. Furthermore, apart from his study program, Ramakrishnan involves in various projects, also
worked as Research collaborator in BMSIS and submitted a research paper entitled “Assessment of
Microbial Habitability across Solar System Targets” under his supervisor of Dr. Dimitra Atri, nyu York
university, Dubai and got published in arxiv review website (7 th march 2022) and also involves more in
extracurricular activities, like taking part in amateur astronomical event, participated in international
conference like ESO in April 2022, SGAC conferences Nov- 2021.

Ramakrishnan is the most dedicated and thoughtful student and he is also the topper our
Physics department and a gold medalist with D++ grade in his final examinations. He was the
Representative for the Physics department and conducted several Physics association meetings and
department functions in a well planned manner. He is good in his communications and well maintains
his bond with all the professors of the department.

I have no doubt that Ramakrishnan will give his best to this program, and this platform will
surely help him to achieve greater heights in his future study programs.

my first priority goes to Ramakrishnan GK

For the last 3 years, I’m seeing Ramakrishnan’s passion, keen and consistence interest in Astronomy
area which is beyond our college curriculum and he possess computational knowledge which is very
useful to publish simulation in astronomy related work in arxiv review website on 7 th March 2022. I
strongly believe that he would be the right person for the Radio Astronomy program.

re there any areas where the candidate has shown the initiative to go beyond the curriculum?
