Review on Main Cafeteria

1. A better and new furniture can be placed and quality of cleaning should also be
checked.
2. The paper plates should be used for giving food instead of plastic plates for the
benefit of enviournment
3. There should be more than one window for buying food
4. Air purifiers should be installed into the rooms

As requested, the main cafeteria of the Lahore school was monitored on December 3, 2022,
immediately prior to the 9 a.m. meal service. In this study, I have identified many recurring
problems that are the result of the café's poor performance at the Lahore School of
Economics. I have enumerated some of the most significant issues linked with the café
below. The following measures are recommended for cafe improvement.

 The café lacks comfortable and contemporary seating, and the table and chairs are
somewhat old. Not only is their clothing quite old, but it has also become extremely
filthy over time. Some of them require immediate repair. They have not been
thoroughly dusted. The café's dinnerware is really outdated. In addition, it has not
been fully cleaned. In the case of plates, plastic should be outlawed as it contributes
to environmental damage.
 Due to the poor air quality index in Lahore, which has detrimental effects on people,
all school auditoriums in Lahore are equipped with air filters. The most populated
area of the institution fails to meet these air quality standards, negatively
compromising the health of all students present in the café. Furthermore, after
covid, it is essential to use the air purifier's filters to remove any leftover germs,
thereby minimising the risk of illness even further.
 The absence of aisles during lunch and breakfast hours is one of the busiest times in
the cafe. There is only one food outlet, which produces chaos outside the booth and
frequently leaves individuals without meals for several minutes. Two aisles are a
solid starting point for addressing this issue.
 The owner of the cafe should be instructed to act properly and courteously towards
the students. This administration should periodically visit the café and inspect the
food's quality. It should also monitor the behaviour of the canteen staff.

2. Provide safety and quality of environment to students
3. The university should prioritize convenience of students as they have very limited
time for break.
