.Why are you applying for Financial Aid ?

I am applying for Financial Aid because I want to take the

course but I am not financially sound to pay for this course. I want to enhance my skills and this
course has potential to help me achieve my career goals. I really wish to take this course but
finances is a hurdle for me as I am totally dependent on my family for my education. Also, my family
is not financially capable of helping me to take this course which makes it difficult for me to pay for
the course. Also, I don't have access to good quality resources to learn Android App Development.
Coursera Financial Aid can let me upgrade my skills an make me industry ready and get a job. My
goal is to develop Android Apps which can solve problems faced by the society and bring change. If
I am granted Financial Aid, it will be beneficial for me to complete this course and earn a certificate
and be an Android Developer.

2. How will taking this course help you achieve your career goals? Taking this course will help me
grow my skills in Android App Development and help me being a developer. I wish to take a job in
Android App Development soon after completing this course. Also, this course will help me develop
Android Apps for my personal use and for betterment of the society. Taking this course will also help
me learn and network with people who develop Android Apps and help in my overall growth. Taking
this course will take me a step ahead in the field of Android App Development which will be a big
leap in my overall growth. If I become a professional Android Developer, I will also be able to take
freelance work which I intend to take up in future. This course is a very advanced level one and will
help me set my own standards in my career growth and will boost my confidence to achieve more. It
will also open new doors of opportunities like taking more advanced courses and upgrading my
skills.
