issues you ran across and the solutions you came up with. Be sure to make the narration
comprehensive. Be guided by the rubrics.

CRITERIA POINTS QUALITATIVE DESCRIPTOR

Status of 10 The status of the advocacy is comprehensively
implementation discussed. It presents, in detail, the activities done
during the week and how the roles of each
members helped in the week’s accomplishment.
Problems 10 The problem, its cause and its repercussion to the
encountered implementation to the delivery of the advocacy
are specific and clearly identified. Moreover, the
report presents a clear understanding of the
effects of the problem to the advocacy.
Solutions 10 The solution mentioned in the report clearly
addresses the problem cited. Critical and creative
thinking was evident in solving the problem. It is
also comprehensively discussed.
Documentation 10 Pictures are clear and are not pixelated. They
clearly present various accomplishments for the
week such that it focuses on different activities
and/or positions. Each of the student is seen in the
pictures at least once. Enhancement of pictures
may be done. Six (6) photos are needed in this
area but report may contain more than six. They
are all properly captioned.
Activities for the 5 The activities for the week are enumerated and
next week are expressed in detail. They are relevant and
necessary to the completion of advocacy.

advocacy) not mentioned in the rubrics is
provided. The layout and fonts are not changed.

Proposed Title Promoting Attractions Through Fostering Knowledge, Education and

Capacity-building

The Hospitality and Tourism industry is a large and complex industry

Background:
This portion discusses in detail the
problem of the society in general (or
specific barangay/target audience
identified). It includes how the
problem began, its magnitude, its
cause, and other salient information
and one that is of significant economic importance to Philippines.
The tourism industry is a significant driver of the global economy and
impacts societies all over the world that are currently experiencing
radical change. Responding to these changes requires economic
paradigms and educational systems based on new foundations.
Having a basic training and education, enabled the tourism industry to
have the right sets of stewards with the required skills, knowledge and
attitude to manage the industry in the present while plan adequately and
wisely to meet the challenges of manpower needs the industry might face
in the future.

Tourism education needs to be redesigned, by changing the nature of

what is taught and how, to build the capacity to lead the industry into a
sustainable future (Sheldon et al. 2008).

Universities as sources of innovative thinking and change at the highest

level must play a crucial role in building the capacity of tourism students
(and future managers) to lead an industry facing increasing pressures to
become responsible stewards, now and in the future (Giudici et al. 2020).

This paper aims to enrich and improve higher tourism education by

leveraging humanistic management (Melé 2016) to build the capacity for
future generations of tourism managers, leaders, and other stakeholders
to adopt alternative models and practices based on the re-discovery of
what it means to be human and what matters most to humanity.

Objectives:  To teach and encourage the young people at San Roque at early
stage to maintain the beauty, pleasant and good environment.
 To increase knowledge and awareness and reduce negatives or

promoting attractions by providing basic education and learning
opportunities.

The project will have been successful if we are able to meet the following

State the conditions that indicate the
achievement of your objectives
a. ) The group would have been able to impart their knowledge
about promoting their own barangay.
b. ) Be able to generate market knowledge, promote competitive
and sustainable tourism policies and instruments, and foster
tourism education and training.
c. ) This project will be successful if we can make the citizens in the
community to actively participate in every activity.
d. ) As a group, we have a team work to focus on the same goal so
the level of work satisfaction can be a big indication of a project’s
success.
e. ) The group must have enough budget to obtain the things that
are needed to finish the project.
f. ) The project plan is followed and done properly, and each
members have the same vision and understanding of what must
be done.
g. ) The project or goal/s will be successful if we can perfectly
encourage the people there to take good care of their place with
the help of our voices to talk or to speak to give knowledge about
different ways on how they can maintain,support,and take good
care of their barangay.

Social Advocacy:
Explain the core message of your
advocacy and how this will be
disseminated on social media
The advocacy of this project is to encourage the people with that certain
barangay to take good care of their place and to promote development.
As innovation arises, we can use technology such as our smartphones to
take photo documentation to upload on social media hoping that it can
influence other people.
