= Ana Unified School District Jerry Almendarez ‘Superintendent of Schools Mareh 15, 2023 ‘To Whom It May Concern; I want to highly recommend Lynna Huynh for any position she is being considered for. Lynna has been a fourth-grade teacher at Diamond Elementary for the last two years. During this time, [ had the opportunity to work with Lynna as she has been an important member of our fourth- grade team here at Diamond Elementary. Lynna came to our school with experience, and she was able to contribute to our grade level immediately. During our collaborations she was able to help with planning and pacing. I appreciate her willingness to contribute and bring in new ideas to our grade level. In her first year our school ‘was starting a new program called Second Step and she was able to guide us with it, because of her experience in her last teaching assignment. After a year and a half of distance learning, our school came back to in person instruetion for the 2021-2022 school year. This was Lynna’s first year at Diamond. I was impressed how well prepared she was and ready for the challenge of teaching in a new school, with new students, and with all the Covid protocols put forth by our district. This was a hard year for everyone coming back and Lynna’s classroom management and preparedness was critical in having students come back to a classroom ready for meaningful instruction, Not only did she preform her duties in the classroom, but she was also helpful outside of the classroom as well. She served as an alternate for the Instruction Leadership Team (ILT). During those meetings she would bring up any concerns our grade level had and be informed about any school issues and report back to the grade level. Itis unfortunate that because of declining enrollment, Lynna Huynh needs to look for another place of employment. Not only is she a dedicated and caring teacher, but she is also an asset to our fourth-grade team. If you are considering her for any position, she would be a great addition to any staff, Sincerely, - f—— Jesus Garcia 4" Grade Teacher 1601 East Chestnut Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92701-6322 (714) 558-5501 Fax: (714) 558-5610 BOARD OF EDUCATION Carolyn Torres, President » Alfonso Alvarez, Ed.D., Vice President ‘Sindler Hasien Mieck:n Baden cemnrdeene: Sealine Ken Bethan Sh0. enher
