I. Subject Matter
Unit Title: Common Electrical Tools and Equipment
Subject: Electrical Installation and Maintenance
Grade Level: Grade 9
Time Allocation: 3 hours

II. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students are able to;
recognize the common tools and Equipment
utilize common tools and equipment
value the importance common tools and equipment

III. Procedure

1. Classes will begin in prayer, teacher will lead the prayer.

Learning Material:
Common tools and equipment (combination pliers, long nose pliers, side cutting pliers, phillip screwdriver, flat head
screwdriver, and Personal Protective Equipment), and video presentation.

Learning Activities:
(Note: Before the lesson, the teacher may have asked the students to do little research about the common tools and equipment and
their uses to have bit knowledge of the lesson. They may do it while at home or school.)

1. The teacher prepares the tools and equipment and present in class.
2. While presenting and explaining the common tools and equipment, teacher will ask some question to check for their
comprehension. In other words, teacher will ask open-ended question.
3. Teacher will present a video presentation regarding with the lesson.
4. Individually, teacher will ask students to share their understanding and clarification regarding with the lesson and to clarify if
the students are learned in such lesson.
5. Teacher will give quiz for the learnings of the students and assess it after.
6. Students will individually perform the uses of tools and equipment.
7. Teacher will check the students work and assess base on how they use the common tools and equipment.
