About the use of "colors"

At the begin of the unit I created a screen

layer and added it to the sketch.

Then I used the "Paint Bucket Tool" to fill

the entire layer with red. At this time all
the lines turned in red.

After that I reduced the transparency of

the layer to 32% to get lighter lines.

Finally I started inking in black on a new

layer.

The advantage of doing this is that it help

not confuse the lines of the draft and the
lines of the inking.

About the naming of the layers

As the work progress the number of

layers increases.

So when you create a new layer it's

important to name it so you won't get
confused later !

You can name the layers according to

your preferences, but it's better to give
names easy to understand.

This is not only helpful to manage the

layers, it will also be useful if you want
to make modifications later (* ^ __ ^ *)

Drawing the eyes

I usually like to start inking from the eyes (But when I color
it's usually the last thing I do ^^)

When drawing eyes, it's important to pay attention to the

following points:

1. If you draw the upper eyelids with thicker lines you can
create a bigger impact
2. Make sure that both eyes are looking in the same
direction. Not only the eyes, be careful of the pupil too!
3. The eyebrows and the line of sight reflect the
personality of your character. If they go up, they give an
impression of power. If they go down they give an
impression of kindness.
4. The size of the pupil should change according to the
light settings, if the light is sufficient, then the pupil will
shrink, the light is insufficient the pupil will become larger.

Drawing the hair

While drawing hair you should be attentive to the

following points

1. Pay attention to where is the starting point of the hair.

2. As much as possible try not to break the hair lines. This
is more convenient to color.

About the skin

When we draw the skin of a woman, we should pay

attention to use smooth lines, it will reflect the delicate
feeling of female skin.

About overlapping lines

Don't be afraid of drawing overlapping lines, you can

erase the unneeded lines later ! I
