Good morning fellow teachers, today, I am task to serve an insight of our inset training yesterday.

In our acceptance in every commitment, there must be something that you must learn and reflect. Today is
the fourth day of our inset training in which we have learned many things and I know that we will put it
into practice. The goal of this INSET training isn't just to comply but also to grow as a family and make the
school better, so that our students can learn. I believe that teachers share a valuable resource: each other,
in terms of intelligence, talent, and skills. Without collaboration, our development could only take place
from our own point of view.
Yesterday, Sir Jan Rey Estribor was assigned to be the emcee in which he handled it very well, a very well
spoken individual equipped with confidence and charm. Our speaker Ma’am Louise Ann Marie Reyes
discussed the topic “Contextualization in Lesson Planning” in which I find it very essential to us educators
as Lesson Plan is the road map towards guiding our students to effective learning absorption. Maam Reyes
shared her expertise on how to incorporate contextualization and how it is essential in making the DLL’s
and DLP’s easy to comprehend and apply. We also had activities related to the topic which we enjoyed in
the course of the training. Lesson planning is how teachers synthesize the curriculum goals with pedagogy
and knowledge of their specific teaching context. In the training, Ive learned that Lesson planning is how
teachers synthesize the curriculum goals with pedagogy and knowledge of their specific teaching context.
Effective lesson planning can also contribute to the teacher’s own success and well-being. Teachers teach
because they want to support students, and effective lesson planning can contribute to job satisfaction
when a lesson is successful or a student does well on an assessment. On the other hand, according to
pressreader CONTEXTUALIZATION is defined as an educational process of relating the curriculum to a
particular setting, situation, area of application to make the competencies relevant, meaningful and useful
to all learners. You see, contextualization hits different when applied to our Lesson guide, mas makasabot
ang mga bata kung unsa atuang gitudlo kay tungod maka relate sila, and if maka relate sila sa atuang
lesson daghan silage ma hatag nga experience, nga learnings ug labaw sa tanan dili sila maulaw mu istorya
when sharing it in class, and we teachers empower confidence among our learners despite their diversities
and the topic of Maam Louise is very relevant to us. Thank you very much for imparting your knowledge
and accepting the challenge.
All in all we teachers are grateful to the efforts behind this event. Thank you from the bottom of our
hearts. I will end this insight by saying this quote from Clay P. Bedford “ You can teach a student a lesson
for a day, but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiousity, he will continue the learning process as
long as he lives. “ Thank you.
