TIC-TAC-TOE, OR AS SOME PEOPLE CALL IT, NOUGHTS AND
CROSSES OR TWIDDLES AND BEARS. FOR MANY DECADES, THIS
QUICK AND EASY GAME HAS BEEN A FIRM FAVORITE IN MOST
HOUSEHOLDS.
BEFORE IT BECAME A HOUSEHOLD GAME, THERE WAS QUITE
A LOT OF MYSTERY AND INTRIGUE SURROUNDING THE GAME.
SOME BELIEVED THAT IT WAS A PAGAN RITUAL, AND CERTAIN
SECRET SOCIETIES BELIEVED THAT IT HAD HIDDEN ANSWERS
ABOUT THE WORLD EMBEDDED IN ITS GRID.
THAT ASIDE, PEOPLE HAVE STARTED TO REALIZE THAT TIC-
TAC-TOE IS JUST A GAME; A RATHER ENJOYABLE ONE AT THAT. IF

A STRAIGHT LINE. THE STRAIGHT LINE CAN RUN
DIAGONALLY, VERTICALLY, OR HORIZONTALLY.
IN SOME VERSIONS OF THE GAME, THE
OBJECTIVE IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. FOR INSTANCE, A
GAME OF 16-SQUARE TIC-TAC-TOE IS PLAYED ON A
GRID OF 4 X 4 SQUARES. IN THIS TYPE OF GAME, THE
GAME CAN BE WON BY PLACING 4 MARKS IN A
STRAIGHT LINE OR DIAGONAL LINE OR PLACING 4
MARKS IN A DIAMOND OR SQUARE SHAPE. IN SHORT,
THE PURPOSE OF THE GAME IS DETERMINED BY
WHICH VARIATION OF THE GAME YOU ARE PLAYING.

PLAYING FORMAT
1.BEFORE THE GAME STARTS, CREATE A TWO GROUP THAT
CONSIST OF 6 MEMBERS.
2. EACH GROUP WILL PLAY JACK N POY, WHOEVER WINS WILL
BE THE FIRST TO CHOOSE WHETHER X OR O WILL BE
THEIR CHECKER ON THE GIANT TIC-TAC-TOE BOARD.

3. WHEN THE GROUPS ARE READY, THE REFEREE WILL SHOUT TIC-TAC-GO
FOR SIGNAL. MEANING, THE FIRST MEMBER OF EACH GROUPS WILL
RUN TO PUT THEIR CHECKER ON THE GIANT TIC-TAC-TOE BOARD. THE
NEXT MEMBER WILL FOLLOW IT UNTIL THEY FORM A HORIZONTAL,
VERTICAL OR STRAIGHT LINE. WHOEVER COMES UP FIRST WILL BE THE
WINNER.
4. BEFORE THE NEXT MEMBER, WAIT FOR THE PREVIOUS MEMBER
TO RETURN TO THE STARTING POINT AND DO A HIGH FIVE.
THEY WILL BE GIVEN A VIOLATION IF THE REFEREE
NOTICES THAT THEY DID NOT HIGH FIVE.
5. THIS GAME HAS FIVE SETS AND WHOEVER HAS MORE POINTS
WILL BE THE WINNER.
RULES AND REGULATIONS

THE GAME IS PLAYED ON A GRID THAT'S 3 SQUARES BY 3


SQUARES.
•FORM A GROUP THAT CONSISTS OF 5-6 MEMBERS EACH TO BEGIN
THE GAME.
•YOU ARE X AND YOUR OPPONENT WHICH IS
FROM THE OTHER GROUP IS O PLAYERS TAKE
TURNS PUTTING THEIR MARKS IN EMPTY SQUARES,
HOWEVER, THE MOVEMENTS WILL BE DONE BY
A PERSON'S PHYSICAL BODY.
•BOTH PLAYERS WILL BE HOLDING 3 RED AND 3 BLUE COLORED PAPERS
WHICH WILL BE PLACE INSIDE THE BOX WHERE THEIR MOVEMENTS
WILL BE TAKEN.
•AS THE GAME STARTS, NO ONE (OR NO PLAYERS WHO ARE INSIDE THE
GAMING BOX) ARE ALLOWED TO TOUCH THEIR OPPONENT'S BODY OR
EVEN THEIR CLOTHES ATTACHED WHILE PLAYING, IT IS JUST
FOR A SAFE PLAY AND PREVENTION OF INJURIES.

•THE FIRST PLAYER TO GET 3 OF HER/HIS MARKS IN A ROW


(UP, DOWN, ACROSS, OR DIAGONALLY) WILL BE THE WINNER.
•WHEN ALL 9 SQUARES ARE FULL, THE GAME IS OVER. IF NO PLAYER
HAS 3 MARKS IN A ROW, THE GAME ENDS IN A DRAW.
•THE GAME WILL BE 5-5 IN THE SCORING BASIS, THE FIRST PLAYER(S)
TO GET AN ADVANTAGEOUS SCORE WILL BE THE WINNER.

VIOLATION
•IF THE OPPONENT INTERFERE WITH THE DECISION OF THE OTHER GROUP
IN MAKING A MOVE, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED AS VIOLATION DUE
TO GAME MANIPULATION.
~PENALTY
- YELLOW FLAG (ONCE)
-RED FLAG (TWICE) +LOSS OF THE PLAYER ON THAT ROUND
•IF THE PLAYER INSIDE THE GAME BOX INTENTIONALLY OR EVEN NOT
INTENTIONALLY PLACE THEIR FEET OUTSIDE THE BOX AND TOUCH
OTHER BOXES EVEN IT'S STILL NOT THE PLAYER'S TURN, IT WILL
BE CONSIDERED AS VIOLATION
~PENALTY
- YELLOW FLAG (ONCE)
-RED FLAG (TWICE) +LOSS OF THE PLAYER ON THAT ROUND

UMPIRE/CREW CHIEF
THERE ARE ALSO UMPIRES IN THIS GAME. THEY WILL HANDLE THE
SCORING AND KEEP THE GAME'S PROGRESSION INTACT.
ADDITIONALLY, IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE FOLLOWED BY PLAYERS. THE
UMPIRE HELPS TO MAINTAIN THE STANDARDS OF THE GAME BY
CHECKING IF THE WINNER HAS FORMED A PATTERN, THEN SHOUT
TIC-TAC-GO!
