1. Introduction
Industry 5.0 allows humans to interact and work with machines. Cobots work in harmony
with human worker and get benefit from human brain power and creativity skills. This
automation of process combined with human brain has enabled industries to integrate and
enable fast. With goal of sustainable consumption and production industry 5.0 promotes
high standard living and creativity. The focus on sustainable manufacturing has forced
industries to implement social responsibility projects as customer tend to buy from
companies contributing to energy efficiency and green economy (Grabowska et al.,
2022).
The Japanese concept of society 5.0 gives the idea of a society where all the citizens can
enjoy the benefits of technology transformation, which will help in problem solving and
evolve the society. It promotes exchange of knowledge and information leading to human
and robots interactions, and change the methods of working, collaborating, managing,
connecting and cooperating in organization. This has challenged organizations to hire
skilled professionals to cope with industrial technological transformation as a society
(García et al., 2022)
This study was conducted with a purpose of understanding the following research
questions:
2. Methodology
We conducted a detailed literature view to find out the cognitive skills and job qualities
required with the technological advancement in industry 5.0. To enlist the skills
requirements we reviewed the articles of A category journals between 2018-2022, Google
scholar was searched with keywords i.e., industry 5.0, society 5.0, organization culture,
human resource requirements and cognitive & job skills. Skills were studied thoroughly
and will be discussed in detail in this study (Chowdhury & Anon 2021).

With the revolution of industry 5.0 rate of skill and technology change is increasing,
employees find it very difficult to fit into the demand expertise of knowledge and work
skills. Technological advancement has created a gap between skills taught in academic
institutes and actual requirement in industries. Human resource managers and educators
are trying to fill this gap by updating the curriculum and remain relevant within available
resources (Fang et al., 2005).
Organizations with proactive approach in filling this gap by identifying the required skills
and hiring personal, have a strategic edge in competitive market (Güğerçin & Güğerçin,
2021). We have enlisted the most required skills in this study i.e., problem solving skills,
interaction and cooperation with people, technological and developmental skills, self-
management skills & emotional intelligence.

ability can motivate themselves by finding meaning in work; productivity will increase
leading to job satisfaction. These skills help in facing stressful conditions with flexibility
and adversity contributing to societal and organizational welfare (Güğerçin & Güğerçin,
2021).
6. Conclusion
Problem solving skills is the top in demand skill along with emotional intelligence for
employees to deliver in an organization. Organizations should develop leadership culture
to adapt technological advancements. Educators and industrialist should develop
curriculum to develop the most wanted job skills in employees to survive in competitive
market.
