SAFETY RULES

There are many sharp tools in a workshop. Some can cut wood and some can cut
metal. Remembered these safety rules or you will cut or injure yourself.

1. Always wear an apron or an overall

1. Wear a shirt with short sleeves or roll up the long sleeves.
2. Take off your tie.
3. Do not run in the workshop: always walk
4. When you are carrying tools, point them down wards. Keep them near
your sides.
5. Always keep both hands behind the cutting edge of tools.
6. Keep tools in their places. Do not leave them on the top of the bench. They
may fall off the bench and hurt your feet.
7. Ask your teacher how to use every tool. Do not experiment with tools and
machines.
8. Wait for instructions before you touch any lever or switch on any machine.
