PREFACE

The goal of this Student Teaching Portfolio is twofold: first, to collect

academic works for Professional Development, and second, to provide evidence

of meeting the requirements for earning a Bachelor's degree in Secondary

Education with a Major in English. This portfolio contains a variety of examples of

pre-service teachers' output from various learning activities that demonstrate her

teaching and learning experience.

This collection of academic work and educational evidence serves multiple

purposes. First, it contains the evaluation of the quality of coursework, the

progress made, and academic achievements of the Pre-Service Teacher.

Second, it helps to determine whether the student-teacher has met the learning

standards required for graduation. Third, it provides an opportunity for the Pre-

Service Teacher to reflect on the academic goals and track the progress as a

learner. Last, it creates a lasting archive of academic work, accomplishments,

and other relevant documentation.

Upon examining each page, one can see the dedication put forth by the

pre-service teacher to qualify for the degree in the College of Education.

Additionally, looking through the compilation may evoke memories of the past

four or five years of learning experiences as various evidence of learning and

academic work is presented. Each piece of evidence is valuable for the

professional development of the author.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I, the author, would like to acknowledge with greatest appreciation and sincerest

gratitude for the valuable contribution of the following:

To God Almighty, the giver of all, for your divine providence and overflowing

grace and mercy; for giving me the people that became instruments of hope and success.

To my Mama, for continuously providing for our needs at home despite all the

daily struggles we have been through.

To my dearest Aries, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support

in my life goals and desires, as well as for being there for me emotionally and lifting me

up during difficult times. I cannot put into words how thankful I am for your sincere

encouragement.

To my teachers and mentors for the past years: for believing in my abilities and

potentials as a student, and for constantly sharpening my mind to become the best that I

can be.

To my classmates and friends, the provider of unconditional love and support,

my keepers of sanity. Special thanks to Jane, Jessa, Japheth, Angel, Peace Park Team,

Lastly, to my dearest self, for believing that I can be the brightest and talented
